Kathmandu. Prabhu Insurance for the financial year 2082. The company has made public the unrevised financial statements for the second quarter (July-December) of 83 B.S.

According to the company’s financial report, the company has earned a net profit of Rs 12.24 crore in the first six months of the current FY. Previous fiscal year 2081. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 120 million in the same period. The company’s profit increased by 2 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

As of the review period, the company has a paid-up capital of Rs 1.28 billion in special reserve, Rs 10.73 crore in catastrophe fund, Rs 19.94 crore in retained earnings and Rs 16.12 crore in other equity. As of mid-July of the previous year, the company had a special reserve of Rs 1.22 billion, a catastrophe fund of Rs 101.2 million, retained earnings of Rs 42.93 crore and other equity of Rs 19.48 crore.

During the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 60.26 crores. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 67.35 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s total premium has decreased by 10.53 percent compared to the previous year.

The company has earned Rs 30.62 crore in net insurance premium during the period. The company had posted a net premium of Rs 28.25 crore in the same period last year. Compared to the previous year, the company’s net premium has increased by 8.38 percent.

The company’s annualized earnings per share (EPS) has increased to Rs 14.40 in the first quarter of the current FY. The EPS was Rs 14.12 a year ago. The net worth per share of the company stands at Rs 203.11.
