Kathmandu. Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited in association with Lumbini World Peace Forum and Birendra Municipality has successfully completed the next phase of afforestation program focusing on environment conservation, community welfare and sustainable development.
The campaign under the aegis of “Warm Jacket Distribution, Seed Distribution and Tree Plantation Program” aims to maintain environmental balance and promote social responsibility at the community level. The program was organized centered on the Birendranagar area. The company also distributed jackets to 50 students on the occasion.
Chief Executive Officer Raj Kumar Aryal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagain, Karnali Province Chief Govinda Dhakal and Province Chief of Insurance Authority Neel Lamichhane were also present during the program. Representatives of Lumbini World Peace Forum, local stakeholders and employees of the company also participated in the program.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Raj Kumar Aryal said that environmental conservation and social service are integral parts of the organizational philosophy of Sun Nepal Life Insurance and expressed commitment to expand such programs across the nation.
