The central bank has issued a notice for financial awareness today. The NRB has advised people to be cautious as the incidents of financial fraud can occur from unknown people or numbers using various pretexts such as WhatsApp, Viber, Messenger, e-mail, phone or mobile messages, winning prizes such as expensive mobiles, goods coming from abroad, finding property or gold, and providing a plan to get high returns in a short time.
According to the NRB, people involved in financial fraud and crime can steal personal and financial details by making attractive offers through such messages. “The use of such details may cause you financial loss or loss,” the NRB said. Let’s avoid such incidents. ’
