Kathmandu. The Actuarial Society of Nepal (ASN) has concluded its seventh annual general meeting. The meeting was successfully held at Hotel Shangri-La Blue in Lalitpur. Actuarial students and analysts from Life Non-Life and Micro Insurance Industry and Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) participated enthusiastically.
In his speech at the annual general meeting, the chairman wished for the institutional progress. In addition, the Treasurer gave presentations on organizational progress, financial reporting, membership growth and strategic priorities.
In addition to meaningful discussions, the assembly also held a democratic election conducted by networking and election committees.
The meeting has formed a new working committee. Prekshya Mathema (CEO of Himalayan Everest Insurance), Somraj Sharma (Shikhar Insurance), Sambhavi Pokharel (Chairman) Nepal Insurance Limited, Binamra Bhattarai (Treasurer), Aseem Shrestha (NLG Insurance) and Aseem Shrestha (NLG Insurance) are the executive members.
ASN extends its heartfelt gratitude to all members for their active participation and to the outgoing Executive Committee for their dedicated service.
The ASN also wished the newly elected leadership a successful and effective tenure and is confident in strengthening the Association of Insurers of Nepal and strengthening its collaboration with the insurance industry.
