Kathmandu. IME Life Insurance Company has called its ninth annual general meeting.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company has decided to hold the AGM on January 9. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am at the Diyo Mahal in Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu.
The AGM will endorse cash dividend (including tax) of Rs 526.315 thousand 789 for the current paid-up capital of the last fiscal year amounting to 10.52632 per cent of the current paid-up capital of Rs 5 billion. The meeting will approve the annual and auditor’s report for the fiscal year 2082. The meeting will also approve a resolution regarding the appointment of an auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for Province 83.
The meeting shall pass a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to make any changes, if any, from the body recording the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of the company. The meeting will approve the corporate social responsibility expenses incurred by the company in the last fiscal year.
The company has decided to close the book on December 26 for the purpose of dividend and AGM. This means that only shareholders who have remained in the company as of December 9 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting. December 10 is a public holiday on Christmas Day.
