Kathmandu. The stock market closed higher on the second day of the week. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 6.74 points to close at 2,601 points. Share prices of 155 companies have increased while the share prices of 94 companies have fallen.
A total of 7,757,625 shares of 329 companies were traded and over Rs 3.44 billion worth of shares were traded during the day. Shares of Ngadi Group Power Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 14.25 crore were traded. Shares of Laxmi Sunrise Bank worth Rs 14.15 crore were traded. Shares of Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. stood at Rs 13.48 crore.
Investors of Swastik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha have earned the most today. Today, the company’s investors have earned at the rate of 10 percent. Investors of SY Panel have earned 9.99 percent. Investors of Shwat Ganga Company earned 8.79 percent.
