Kathmandu. Today is the last day to secure dividends for two companies. Today is the last day to secure dividends for Laxmi Sunrise Bank and Kalinchowk Darshan.
The two companies are closing the book on December 1 for the purpose of AGM and dividend distribution. Accordingly, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till date will be able to participate in the AGM of these two companies and receive the dividend to be distributed by these two companies.
Laxmi Sunrise Bank has called its 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Agrawal Bhawan, Kamalpokhari, Kathmandu on Monday. The meeting will begin at 11:00 am. The AGM will endorse a special proposal of distributing 10 percent bonus shares and 0.53 percent cash dividend on its current paid-up capital.
The meeting will also endorse the proposal of making changes in the structure of the Board of Directors, delegating authority to the Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association and appointing an auditor.
Meanwhile, Kalinchowk Darshan has called its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 29 at Badrinath Hotel, Gaushala, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 11:30 a.m.
The AGM will endorse a special proposal of distributing 5 percent bonus shares and 0.263 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital.
The AGM will also endorse the proposal of issuing hundred percent right shares of the paid-up capital after the distribution of bonus shares, authorizing the Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association, endorsing the decisions of the Board of Directors, approve the appointment of Directors and appoint auditors.
