The actuarial report prepared by the actuarial company related to financial accounting and liability valuation of Rs 82 has been approved by the Insurance Authority of Nepal and the bonus rate to be paid on the life insurance policies issued till Ashad end 2082 has been announced at a minimum of Rs 23 to Rs 73 per thousand.
Term Life Insurance
In the case of term life insurance policy, the company has fixed a minimum bonus rate of Rs 33 to Rs 70. The bonus rate for 10 to 14 years, Rs 33 for 10 to 14 years, Rs 40 for 15 to 19 years, Rs 51 for 20 to 24 years and Rs 70 for 25 years and above 25 years has been set to pay a bonus of Rs 33. Of these, 38,744 insurance policies of 15 to 19 years were sold.
Term and Life Insurance Plans

In this policy, the company has fixed a minimum bonus rate of Rs 38 to Rs 73. The bonus rate for 10 to 14 years, Rs 43 for 15 to 19 years, Rs 54 for 20 to 24 years and Rs 73 for 25 years and above 25 years has been set at Rs 38 per thousand. Of these, 1,215 insurance policies were sold for the period of 15 to 19 years.
Advance Payment Periodic

In this policy, the company has a minimum bonus rate of Rs 35 to Rs 51. The bonus for 10 to 14 years, Rs 40 for 15 to 19 years and Rs 51 bonus for 20 to 24 years has been set to pay a bonus rate of Rs 35 per thousand. Of these, 1,514 insurance policies of 15 to 19 years have been sold.

In this policy, the company has fixed a minimum bonus rate of Rs 23 to Rs 27. The bonus rate for 10 to 14 years, Rs 25 for 15 to 19 years and Rs 27 for 20 to 24 years has been set up. The highest number of 2,631 insurance policies for the period of 15 to 19 years were sold.
Mahalaxmi Term Life Insurance Scheme

The company has fixed a minimum bonus rate of Rs 45 to Rs 52 on this policy. The bonus for every 1,000 years with maturity of 5 to 14 years, Rs 46 for 15 to 24 years and Rs 52 bonus for years of 25 years and above has been set to pay a bonus of Rs 45. Of these, 16,248 insurance policies have been sold for the period of 15 to 24 years.
Mahalaxmi Saral Jeevan Bima Yojana
Under this scheme, bonus rate has been set at Rs 52 per thousand with validity of 5 to 14 years and Rs 55 for 15 years and above.
Mahalaxmi Care Insurance

Under this scheme, bonus rate has been fixed at Rs 50 for Rs 50,000 with validity of 5 to 14 years and Rs 51 bonus for 15 years and above.
Mahalaxmi Child Savings Insurance

Bonus rate for 5 to 14 years, bonus rate of Rs 35 for 15 to 19 years and bonus rate of Rs 39 for 20 years and above has been set up.
Similarly, the bonus rate for all periods of Mahalaxmi annual refund policy, bonus rate of Rs 45 for all periods of Mahalaxmi Dhandhanya Bima Yojana and Rs 38 bonus for all periods of Mahalaxmi term life insurance has been fixed.
The bonus rate announced by the company will be applicable on death claims, full or part-term payment claims, surrender value claims, paid up value claims and current policies and will remain in place until the actuarial valuation of the next year is approved by the Insurance Authority.
