Kathmandu. Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company (HIDCL) has announced the financial year 2081. The company has declared a dividend for 82 years.
The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company has decided to distribute 3.5 percent dividend on the current paid up capital of the company. This includes 1.5 percent bonus shares and 2 percent cash dividend. The dividend will be distributed after the approval of the Government of Nepal.
The company has called its 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 7 to approve the dividend.
The company has decided to close the book on December 24 for the purpose of dividend and meeting. This means that only the shareholders who have been in the company before December 8 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
