Kathmandu. Janaki Finance is going to hold its 27th and 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on January 2. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on December 25 fixed the date for the AMIC. The meeting will be held at 8:00 am at Masala Cottage, Tirhutiya Gachhi, Janakpurdham.
The AGM will discuss and approve the annual report submitted by the Board of Directors for the fiscal year 2079/80 and 2080/81, the final audit report of the FY 2079/80, 2080/81, financial statement (balance sheet), profit or loss, cash flow statement, change in equity and other financial statements.
According to Section 113 of the Companies Act, 2063, the Office of the Registrar of Companies has approved the appointment of the auditor for the fiscal year 2080/81 and the auditor Mr. Debaki Vijay & Co., Chartered Accountants for the fiscal year 2081/82 has been approved by the Office of the Company Registrar. K. Agarwal & Co. will approve the appointment and remuneration of Chartered Accountants.
The AGM will endorse the proposal of granting authority to the Board of Directors to carry out the merger, merger or acquisition of Janaki Finance Company and other appropriate banks and financial institutions or, if deemed appropriate, to enter into foreign strategic partnership, to evaluate movable and immovable assets and liabilities and transactions.
