Kathmandu. The general meeting of the two companies is taking place on December 26. The AGM of Shubham Power Company and Sagarmatha Hydropower Company is taking place today.
Shubham Power Limited is organizing its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, December 26. The meeting will be held at 12:30 pm at the Smart Palace in Shankha Park, Kathmandu. The meeting of the Board of Directors of the company held on November 19 fixed the date of the meeting.
The AGM will endorse the annual report, auditor’s report, balance sheet, profit or loss, cash flow and other financial statements of the last fiscal.
Similarly, the meeting will appoint an auditor for the current fiscal year and determine his/her remuneration, endorse the decisions and works carried out by the Board of Directors, approve the report on corporate governance and endorse the proposal of the Board of Directors including allowances and facilities of the Board of Directors.
The company had closed the book for a day on November 30 for the AGM.
Similarly, the fifth annual general meeting of Sagarmatha Hydropower Company Limited will begin at 11:00 am at Smart Durbar, Sankha Park, Kathmandu.
The AGM will endorse a special proposal of issuing right shares at the ratio of 1:1 of the current paid-up capital of the company.
The meeting will also endorse the proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association, appoint an auditor, approve a report on corporate surety and corporate good governance.
The company had closed its book on November 30 for the AGM. Accordingly, the shareholders of the company who have been traded in NEPSE till November 26 will be able to participate in the AGM of the company.
