Kathmandu. The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kaski on Tuesday organized an interaction program with the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Kaski with the objective of informing the people about the insurance sector.
The program was chaired by Nepal Insurance Authority Gandaki Province Chief Shambhu Prasad Mishra. The program was attended by FNJ Kaski chapter president Madhav Prasad Baral, NIPS Pokhara chapter president Badrinath Poudel and Nisha Kaski coordinator Buddhiraj Adhikari.
The program was conducted by Balaram Lamichhane, Assistant First of Nepal Insurance Authority. The program was presented by Nepal Insurance Authority Gandaki Province Chief Shambhu Prasad Mishra. The welcome speech was given by Kabita Pandey, Assistant Director of NRA.
The program was also attended by journalists associated with the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) and Gandaki Province Chiefs and Section Chiefs of the Insurance Association. The program was held at the Kaski chapter hall of Federation of Nepali Journalists.
On the occasion, Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Gandaki chair Poudel urged the journalists present in the programme to inform the people about the agriculture insurance subsidies that journalism has not been able to reach the farmers to create the message of insurance and to ensure insurance of cows from 10 liters of milk.
On the occasion, Nisha Kaski coordinator Adhikari urged the journalists to disseminate the message that insurance should be made only after being aware of the claims received as per the proposal form for the protection of the property.
At the conclusion of the program, Chief Mishra said that the Insurance Authority of Gandaki Province believes in awakening the hunger for insurance of the general public through journalism and urged the government to facilitate the news by editing news on such topics as the information can be filed with the Nepal Insurance Authority if there is any insurance problem in the Gandaki Province.
