Rs. Deposits increased by Rs 5 billion, how much loan growth?

Kathmandu. Deposits in the banking system have increased by Rs 5 billion in a single day.

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), deposits in banks stood at Rs 7.519 trillion as of Wednesday, which stood at Rs 7.524 trillion as of Thursday.

Similarly, credit disbursement stood at Rs 56.51 trillion as of Wednesday, which reached Rs 5.654 trillion on Thursday. Credit flow has increased by Rs 3 billion in a single day.

The average CD ratio of the banks has come down to 74.29 percent and the interbank interest rate is 2.75 percent. The CD ratio was 74.30 percent the previous day.
