Kathmandu. Asha Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha has called its ninth annual general meeting.
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the organization held on Thursday decided to hold the AGM on December 19. The meeting will begin at 2:00 pm at Hotel Araniko in Dhulikhel-6.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. The company will approve a total dividend of 10 percent of the current paid-up capital proposed for the company. This includes 9.5 percent bonus shares and 0.5 percent cash dividend.
The AGM will endorse a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to carry out all the functions required to proceed with the process of merger, merger or acquisition of other microfinance financial institutions.
The meeting will also endorse a proposal to authorize the Board of Directors to carry out works for amendment to the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association by incorporating the suggestions received from the regulatory body.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. 82. The auditor’s report and the annual report of the Board of Directors will be approved. The meeting approved the current fiscal year 2083. The meeting will also approve a resolution regarding the appointment of an auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for Province 83.
The company has decided to close the book on December 7 for the purpose of dividend and general meeting. This means that only shareholders who have been held before December 22 will be eligible to receive the dividend and attend the meeting.
