Share Mortgage Loans Increased by 37%, What Range?

Kathmandu. Current fiscal year 2082. In the first quarter (July-September) of 83 years, the share loan issued by banks has increased by about 37 percent.

According to the data released by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) today, banks have issued Rs 144.95 billion in share loans in the review period. Previous fiscal year 2081. By mid-September 2018, banks had disbursed loans worth Rs 105.82 billion. Compared to the previous year, the share loan from banks increased by 36.97 percent in the review period.

As of mid-September of the current fiscal year, banks have issued loans worth Rs 198.58 crore for loans above Rs 10 million. The loan of this range had gone up to Rs 69.97 billion till mid-September last year. The demand for this range of loans has increased by 44.32 percent.

Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 1 crore stood at Rs 17.70 billion, loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million to Rs 50 lakh stood at Rs 17.82 billion and loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million stood at Rs 8.43 billion. Loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 1 crore were Rs 13.59 billion, loans in the range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh were Rs 14.87 billion and loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million were Rs 8.17 billion.

Compared to the previous year, loans in the range of Rs 5 million to Rs 1 crore increased by 30.28 percent, loans in the range of Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh increased by 19.86 percent and loans in the range of Rs 2.5 million increased by 14.06 percent.
