Kathmandu. The stock market fell on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. The NEPSE index decreased by 5.15 percent to close at 2540.57 points.
Out of 13 sub-groups, three have increased while 10 have fallen. The other group increased by 0.72 percent while the finance group fell the most by 0.87 percent.
On this day, the share price of 74 companies has increased in the market. Shares of 168 companies declined, while 14 remained unchanged.
The market was traded at Rs 3.89 billion today. SBL debentures were traded the most.
