National Insurance Company earns Rs 22.41 crore in first quarter

Kathmandu. National Insurance Company for the fiscal year 2082. It has published unrevised financial statements for the first quarter of FY83. According to the financial statement, most of the company’s indices have fallen.

The company reported a net loss of Rs 9.95 crore in the first quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 15.65 crore in the same quarter last year.

In the first quarter of the current FY, the company’s share capital stood at Rs 26.66 crore. The company has a special reserve of Rs 3.15 billion. The retained earnings stood at Rs 2.37 billion. The company has Rs 10.56 billion in other equities.

As of mid-July last year, the special reserve was Rs 3.15 billion. Retained earnings stood at Rs 2.47 billion. In other equities, the company has Rs 10.70 billion.

In the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 22.41 crores. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 63.46 crore in the same quarter last year. The company’s total premium has decreased by 64 percent in the review period compared to the previous year.

In the review year, the company earned a net insurance premium of Rs 3.80 crores. Compared to the previous fiscal year, the net insurance premium has also decreased by 79 percent. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 18.77 crore in the same quarter last year.

In the review period, the company spent Rs 18.61 crore on reinsurance. The company had spent Rs 44.69 crore in the same period of the previous FY.

The company’s earnings per share (EPS) is negative Rs 37.32. The net worth per share of the company stands at Rs 6401.84.
