Kathmandu. Fedikhola Hydropower Company Limited is going to issue 17,60,000 ordinary shares to the general public through the initial public offering (IPO). The company has appointed NMB Capital as its issue manager for the IPO issuance.
Phedikhola Hydropower Pvt. Ltd., which has authorized and issued capital of Rs 800 crore, will issue 22 percent of its issued capital at a face value of Rs 176 million at a face value of Rs 176 million.
Deepesh Kumar Vaidya, CEO of NMB Capital and Prakash Chandra Dulal, Managing Director of Phedikhola Hydropower Company have signed the agreement to this effect.
The hydropower project is being constructed in the Phedi River of Sapalpasilichho Rural Municipality-6 in Bhojpur district at a total cost of Rs 940 million. According to Dulal, 85 percent of the construction work has been completed so far and the target is to complete the project by mid-January, 2082 and the process of extraction will be forwarded as soon as possible by fulfilling all the processes and requirements stipulated by the regulatory body.
