Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Celebrates 19th Anniversary: New Deposit Scheme Launched

Kathmandu. Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has celebrated its 19th anniversary. On the occasion of its 19th anniversary, the bank celebrated its 19th anniversary by organizing various programs.

A nationwide blood donation program was organized on Thursday, November 27. The bank organized blood donation programs at its central office and all the regional offices. A total of 429 pints of blood have been collected from blood donation programs held at different places.

Mr. Bhim Prasad Tulachan, Director of the Bank, inaugurated the blood donation program in Butwal area of the bank and Mr. Binaya Dahal, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank, inaugurated the blood donation program by handing over the blood bag to Bhawana Pandey of Himal Hospital, Blood Transfusion Centre.

The blood donation program was organized at Biratnagar branch of Koshi Province, Bardibas branch of Madhes Province, Narayangadh branch of Narayangadh Province, New Road Pokhara branch of Pokhara, Butwal branch of Butwal and Nepalgunj branch of western region.

On the occasion of the bank’s anniversary, the bank also organized Inter-Bank and Financial Institution level Footlooses Cup (fifth edition). Siddhartha Bank and Lumbini Bikas Bank won the men’s and women’s categories respectively.

On the occasion of its 19th anniversary, the Bank’s Amar Singh Branch conducted Financial Literacy Programs at Amarsingh Higher Secondary School and Pokhara New Road Branch at Pardi Secondary School.

On the occasion of its anniversary, the bank has also launched a new deposit scheme “Alpha Gro”. According to the bank, this account is targeted at children up to 18 years of age. Under the “Alpha Gro” account, the bank will provide attractive cash to the customers who open the account and arrange life insurance up to Rs. 50,000 for the account holder.

The bank will pay the premium till the account holder attains the age of 18 years. The bank believes that this will help make the future of children safe and sustainable. The bank aims to inculcate savings habits in children and provide future-oriented financial security to their parents through the “Alpha Gro” account.
