Kathmandu. Siddhartha Premier Insurance has been found to be the highest paid company for the insured property during the GenG agitation.
According to the data released by the Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) as of November 7, Siddhartha Premier Insurance has to pay Rs 5.51 billion for 401 claims of insured property damaged during the Genji agitation. So far, the company has paid claims worth Rs 1.57 billion.
So far, 14 non-life insurance companies and four micro non-life insurance companies have to pay Rs 23.46 billion for 3,246 claims. Out of this, the companies have already paid a total of Rs 3.68 billion including advance payment.
Similarly, Shikhar Insurance is the second highest claim payment company. The company has so far paid Rs 66.26 crore out of 445 claims that have to be paid Rs 2.42 billion.
IGI Prudential Insurance is the third largest claim payment company. The company has paid Rs 2.79 billion for 216 claims and has paid Rs 55.44 crore so far.
