Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower for the second consecutive day today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.80 points to close at 2,560 points. Today, the share prices of 90 companies have increased and the share prices of 151 companies have fallen.
A total of 864 million 8889 units of shares of 327 companies were traded during the day, while shares worth Rs 4.51 billion were traded. Today, the shares of NRNA were traded the most. The company’s shares worth Rs 48.88 crore were traded. Shares of Union Hydropower worth Rs 25.78 crore were traded. SBL Debenture 2089 shares worth Rs 24.9 crore were traded.
Investors of Daramkhola Hydropower, Bungal Hydropower and Sagar Distillery earned the most today. Today, investors of these three companies have earned at the rate of 9.99 percent. Investors of Mabilung Energy earned 9.98 percent.
Today, most of the advancement has been lost to the investors of Cooperative Microfinance. Today, the company’s investors lost 10 percent.
