“We’ve been involved with sports since the beginning. Our investment in sports is more of a responsibility than a business. It is an investment in our society and the new generation, which is helping to spread positive energy within the country. What’s more, sports bring people closer, strengthening their relationship with each other, just like the internet. That’s why we are continuously supporting the sports sector,” said Shaheen Shrestha, Vice President, Commercial and Marketing, Vianet.
Vianet has made sports an important part of its social responsibility since its inception. Earlier, Vianet was the title sponsor of both the International Women’s Football Championship held in February and the Corporate Cricket League held in August.
