Ncell in partnership with MetLife launches a scheme called “Data with Life Insurance”.

Kathmandu. Ncell has partnered with MetLife Nepal to launch a new scheme called “Life Insurance with Data”. The subscribers get mobile data along with life and critical illness insurance at the same time.

Under this service launched for the first time in Nepal, Ncell customers can choose between two exclusive packages that get insurance coverage along with data usage.

The first of the two packages comes for Rs 99 (inclusive of taxes). This pack comes with a validity of 3 days and comes with 100 MB data, Rs 200,000 worth of term life insurance and Rs 200,000 worth of critical illness insurance. This insurance facility will remain valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

The second pack costs Rs 39. In this pack, customers get 100 MB data for 3 days, term life insurance worth Rs 50,000 and critical illness insurance worth Rs 50,000. This insurance package will remain valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Customers can easily choose between the two packs via Ncell app, fill up a form, and buy one of the two insurance packs via Ncell app. These packs can also be obtained by dialing 1234*6#. The Term life insurance coverage starts immediately after submitting the Term Life Insurance form whereas the Critical Illness coverage becomes active after a waiting period of 30 days.

This partnership aims to make insurance easier for Ncell users. This is especially important for remote communities that have been deprived of such services for a long time. Life insurance with data, with affordable fees, complete digital process, and effective insurance policies, has initiated a significant journey towards financial inclusion and social protection in Nepal.
