Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kumari Bank Limited has handed over scholarship amount to Ms. Trishna Shakya (ex.), a living lady.
Every year, the bank provides Rs. 100,000 to Jivit Devi Kumari of Basantapur for her educational purpose since the beginning of her tenure. The amount has been deposited by setting up a scholarship fund at the rate of one lakh. The objective of this scholarship is to support Kumari in her academic journey after completion of her tenure.
Continuing with the same tradition, the bank handed over a total amount of Rs. 738,811.95 scholarship to the outgoing Kumari Kumari.
Kumari Bank has been rendering professionalized banking services for the past 24 years through its 302 branches, 50 extension counters, 48 branchless banking units and 317 ATMs for the past 24 years. The bank pledges to carry out such programs in a stronger manner in the days to come.
