Kathmandu. November 26 is the last day to secure the dividend of Global IME Bank. The company has decided to close the book on November 1 for dividend and meeting purposes. Only the shareholders who have remained in the bank as on October 3 will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the meeting.
The bank has decided to hold its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on November 10. The assembly will begin at 10:00 am at the Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.
The meeting held the last fiscal year 2081. It will also approve cash dividend (including tax) of 8% of the proposed paid-up capital for the current fiscal year. The AGM will approve the consolidated financial statements of its subsidiary companies – Global IME Capital, Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha and Global IME Securities – along with the financial statements of the previous financial year.
The meeting will approve the annual report and auditor’s report of the previous fiscal year. The meeting will also approve the proposal regarding the appointment of the auditor and determination of his/her remuneration for the current fiscal year.
The meeting shall endorse a special resolution authorizing the Board of Directors to add and amend the Articles of Association and to make suggestions or amendments received from the regulatory body thereon.
