Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) A Chinese company has been given the contract to print new Rs 50 notes.
Issuing a notice today, the central bank has issued a notice to China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation. The government has awarded a contract to print new Rs 50 notes. The company was awarded the contract to print notes for $10,422,535.21.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has invited international tenders for Rs. The government had asked interested companies to propose printing of new Rs 50 notes. Now this Chinese company has made a profit of Rs. It will print 420 million new banknotes of Rs 50 denomination.
The company will have to design, print and supply notes.
