The company’s main business is focused on motor insurance. In the review period, the company earned a total insurance premium of Rs 43.33 crore. It was 14.76 percent more than the same period last year. Last year, the company had collected Rs 37.76 crore in insurance premiums.
Similarly, the company has collected Rs 32.26 crore in property insurance, Rs 18.05 crore towards miscellaneous and Rs 10.41 crore towards agriculture. Compared to the same period last year, the business of property insurance increased by 21 percent and miscellaneous by 27.49 percent while that of agriculture decreased by 13.54 percent.
During the review period, the company earned a business of Rs 8.86 crore in engineering insurance, Rs 7.51 crore in marine insurance, Rs 2.73 crore in air insurance and Rs 1 lakh in micro insurance. According to the company, the business of engineering insurance increased by 43.43 percent and that of air insurance by 345.61 percent compared to the same period last year.
