Kathmandu. Bhotekoshi Power Company Limited has agreed to give 10 percent share to Bhotekoshi Genji Public Investment Company.
The two companies have agreed to issue shares on Sunday. After this agreement, the power plant of the project, which has been stalled for about 1 month, has come into operation.
The agreement was signed by the company’s chairman Phurpa Sherpa and Bhotekoshi Power Company’s company secretary Bishwo Mohan Karmacharya among others. As per the agreement, 10 percent share will be given to the investment company formed by directly affected locals of the hydropower generation area. As per the agreement, the company will increase the share by 4 percent from the 6 percent as per the agreement on December 22, 2014.
The two sides have also agreed to start the process of applying for the 10% shares. As per the agreement, the project will provide Rs 2.5 crore annually to Bhotekoshi Rural Municipality.
Both sides have agreed to extend full support and cooperation to resolve the demands and problems that might come up in the future during the project.
