Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has said that the works recommended by the capital market reform task force have to be carried out within 3 months.
The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) issued a notice on Sunday night. “The immediate works suggested by the taskforce in the report (3 months’ deadline) have already reached the implementation phase. ’
The notice states that the Securities Board is committed to forward the process of various issues and suggestions submitted by the investors related to the stock market.
The investors had picketed the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) till 10:00 pm on Thursday, demanding the continuation of its works by addressing the demands of the employees and establishing the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) as an autonomous body. After the investors picketed him, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) had promised to find a way out immediately by coordinating with the Ministry of Finance.
