Kathmandu. On Thursday, the last trading day of the week, the stock market saw a double-digit gain. The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 22.59 points to close at 2582.18.
Following the rise in the NEPSE sub-group, 12 sub-groups have increased while one group has fallen. On the day, the trading group fell by 1.48 percent while the investment group saw the highest increase of 1.61 percent.
Today, the share prices of 200 companies have increased and 41 have fallen. Shares of 10 companies remained stable on the day.
More than Rs 5.25 billion was traded in the market today. The highest turnover was made by Shivam Cement.
