Employees of Securities Board of Nepal demand to create environment to work with high morale

Kathmandu. Employees of Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) have demanded the government to create an environment to work with high morale.

Handing over a memorandum to Chairman Santosh Narayan Shrestha and the Board of Directors on behalf of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), all the employees submitted a memorandum to the Board of Directors today. “Serious attention has been drawn to the recent decision taken by the Ministry of Finance,” the letter reads.

The Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) established as per the Securities Act, 2063 BS is one of the three pillars of the financial sector of Nepal. “We, the employees, are working at the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) in accordance with Section 19 of the Act,” the memorandum reads, adding, “We have been fulfilling the responsibility and responsibility of implementing the decisions of the Board of Directors as per Section 3 of the Act. “Our serious attention has been drawn to the letter we have received stating that the Employees Protection Fund (Operation and Management) Work Procedure, 2071 BS and Employees Protection Fund (Operation and Management) Work Procedure, 2075 BS is against the prevailing law. ’

The memorandum reads that a letter has been sent to scrap the Regulations made within the jurisdiction guaranteed by the Securities Act, 2063 BS and the procedures issued by the Board of Directors within the ambit of these Regulations through the decision of the Ministry of Finance (Revenue Secretary). “We draw the attention of the chairperson and the Board of Directors to end this kind of confusion as soon as possible and to create an environment for employees to work with high morale,” reads the memorandum reads.
