Kathmandu. In the fiscal year 2082/83, the non-life insurance companies have collected more than Rs 8 billion in insurance premiums. These companies have sold 4,32,069 insurance policies and earned a total of Rs 8.12 billion in premiums.

During this period, Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company has collected the highest premium. The company has earned a total premium of Rs 89.44 crore. Shikhar Insurance Company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 84.82 crore. Siddhartha Premier Insurance Company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 77.33 crore. Himalayan Everest Insurance has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 71.17 crore.

Similarly, NLG Insurance has earned a total premium of Rs 68.75 crore. IGI Prudential Insurance Company has earned a total premium of Rs 62.91 crore. Oriental Insurance Company has collected a total insurance premium of Rs 59.50 crore. Neco Insurance has collected a total premium of Rs 58.01 crore. United Ajod Insurance Company has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 57.48 crore.

Similarly, Sanima GIC Insurance has earned a total premium of Rs 49.37 crore. Nepal Insurance has earned a total insurance premium of Rs 36.82 crore. National Insurance has collected Rs 35.02 crore in insurance premiums from the current fiscal year. Prabhu Insurance has earned a total premium of Rs 32.32 crore. The insurance company has collected a total premium of Rs 29.81 crore.
