Kathmandu. The stock market closed down by double digits today. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 27.89 points to close at 2,654 points. Today, the share prices of 53 companies have increased and the share prices of 193 companies have fallen.
A total of 9.408 million units of shares of 317 companies were traded during the day. Shares of Union Hydropower Ltd were traded the most today. Today, the company’s shares worth Rs 22.13 crore were traded. Shares of Nepal Reinsurance Company worth Rs 17.32 crore have been traded. Shares of Himalayan Reinsurance Company worth Rs 13.37 crore were traded.
Investors of Upper Mailung Khola Hydropower and City Hotels earned the most today. Today, investors of these two companies have gained 10 percent. Investors in Himstar Energy gained 9.99 percent.
Today, most of the advancement has been lost to the investors of Cooperative Microfinance. Today, its investors lost 5 percent.
