Kathmandu. A shocking incident took place at the Delhi airport on the morning of September 21. A 13-year-old boy arrived in Delhi from Kabul in a landing gear on Kam Airlines flight RQ-4401. At around 11:10 a.m., airline security personnel spotted the child walking around on the plane and arrested him.
During interrogation, it was found that the boy was a resident of Kunduz in Afghanistan. It has been revealed that he traveled without a ticket. During a thorough search of the aircraft, the airline’s security and engineering team also found a small red audio speaker in the landing gear area.
The boy was then brought to the I-to-I area. There were detailed inquiries by various concerned agencies. During that time, extreme precautions were taken to ensure the safety and welfare of the child. After completing all the procedures, the boy was flown to Kabul on a Low Airlines flight RQ-4402 in the afternoon.
Airport officials said the incident was serious from the point of view of security checks and flight operations. Both airports and airlines will strengthen security measures to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.
