Kathmandu. The deadline to apply for the undistributed right shares of Nepal Insurance Company has been extended. The company has issued 34.78 percent right shares to its shareholders in the ratio of 1:0.3478 from August 20 to August 17. A total of 1,97,42.76 units of shares that were not purchased at that time were sold through the auction process. Out of the total offered shares, 1,92,574 units of ordinary shares and 4,468.76 units of promoter group will be held in the company.
The tender for the purchase of the shares can be submitted till September 22. Interested individuals, institutions and companies can submit bids for the purchase of these shares. Applications can be place for minimum 1,000 units from promoter group and 100 units from general public.
The minimum price of the shares has been fixed at Rs 100 per share. This means that investors will have to bid at or above the minimum price.
The bidders can bid for the shares from NMB Ace Capital at Pokhara, Butwal, Birgunj and Biratnagar.
