Kathmandu. Today, the stock market has gone first. Today, the NEPSE index decreased by 160 points to close at 2511 points. The market has closed for today due to the third negative circuit in the market.
The impact of the Genji movement has been seen in the stock market. On the first day of the change of government, the NEPSE index fell by 4 percent within two minutes of the regular market opening.
After the first negative circuit, the NEPSE index which opened at 11:22 am had again decreased by 5 percent to close the second negative circuit at 11:23 am.
Today, the share prices of 9 companies have increased and the share prices of 217 companies have fallen. A total of 17,52,000 units of shares worth Rs 72.87 crore were traded today. Today, the share price of 22 companies has hit the negative circuit, while only the shares of Himstar Company have hit the positive circuit.
