Kathmandu. Asian Life Insurance Company (LIC) has announced a discount of up to 50% on the interest paid on the renewal of the policy.
Issuing a notice today, the company has announced that it will give 50% discount on the interest charged to the renaissance insured for insurance policies that have exceeded 6 months from the date of payment of the premium by the end of Bhadra 2082. As per the agreement, the company will give 50% discount on interest on the policy of more than 5 years.
Similarly, if the policy is revived from 2 years to less than 5 years, the insured will get 25% discount on interest.
The company has said that no exemption will be given if the maturity period is less than two years. The company has also clarified that the insured will not be given interest waiver once again.
