Kathmandu. President Ram Chandra Poudel has been evading the issue of dissolution of parliament raised by Jenji Youth. As a result, no consensus has been reached on the formation of an interim government.
President Poudel and Jenji’s representatives have agreed to appoint former Chief Justice Sushila Karki as the Prime Minister of the interim government. However, the process of forming an interim government has been delayed due to lack of consensus on the dissolution of parliament, said a delegate present at Sheetal Niwas.
The delegation has gone to the ongoing talks at Sheetal Niwas. “The president is trying to delay the dissolution of parliament, which is why the formation of the interim government is being delayed,” the delegate said.
On the other hand, Karki, who seems certain to become the Prime Minister of the interim government, is now at home. The Genji representative said he had been asked to contact him only if an agreement was reached.
