Kathmandu. Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has suspended share trading on Tuesday considering the current situation.

Issuing a notice today, NEPSE informed that the trading of shares has been suspended. The District Administration Office Kathmandu has issued a curfew order along the Ring Road of Kathmandu and many brokers and investors have requested to halt the transactions.

According to NEPSE, the trading in securities has been suspended for today as per Rule 21 (1) of the Listing and Transaction Regulations, 2075 BS.

The local administration has imposed curfew in all three districts of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur since this morning in view of the possible protest by Genji. At least 19 people were killed and hundreds injured in the ongoing protests across the country including Kathmandu on Monday.
