Kathmandu. Surendra Padel has been appointed as the chairman of Nepal Reinsurance Company.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday decided to appoint Padel to the state-owned reinsurance company. Padel has served as executive director of Nepal Oil Corporation( NOC).
The government has removed Devraj Dhungana, chairman of the reinsurance company, from the post of executive director of the Security Printing Fund and appointed Padel as the chairman.
Similarly, Hemant Basyal has been appointed as the chairman of The Nepal Stock Exchange. Basyal is a former executive officer of NRN Infrastructure and Development Company.
