Kathmandu. Kedarnath Sharma Bidari, a founding member of professional insurance agents association, has passed away at the age of 82. Sharma, who had been working continuously as an agent from the National Insurance Institute since 2044 BS, died while undergoing treatment at Alka Hospital around 2.30 am on September 27.

Sharma was suffering from prostate disease for the last two years. Sharma is survived by a son, a daughter and a wife at Pashupati Aryaghat this morning.

Sharma, who was constantly committed to karma, had been diligent professionally. Sharma was actively involved during the writ petition filed by professionally active agents in the Supreme Court against the provision of one agent one company during the amendment of insurance rules under the Insurance Act 2049.

Sharma, who graduated in classical music from Haridwar in India, taught for some time at Siddharth Vanasthali School.
