Kathmandu. Gurkha’s Finance Limited has been inaugurated in Hong Kong. On the occasion, Director of the company Akash Banjara announced that the main objective of the company is to establish Gurkha’s Finance as a bank for The Nepali society in Hong Kong and integrate Nepalis.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Nabil Bank Manoj Gyawali and young entrepreneur Hikmat Jung Karki were present on the occasion. The company is led by DK Dahal, Akash Banjara, Bibash Subedi and a team of 47 other shareholders.
Welcoming the program, Chairman DK Dahal called upon all the investors to work together to make it a bank. He stressed the need for all to stand united and stand on the same line to transform Gurkha’s Finance into a bank.
Announcing from the forum, Director Akash Banjara clarified that Gorkha’s Finance is moving ahead with the objective of launching a Nepali bank by uniting the Nepali society in view of the situation in Hong Kong where Nepalis do not have their own bank. He said that the company aims to establish itself as a leading Nepali bank in Hong Kong in the future by providing various financial services including remittance.
On the occasion, it was also announced that nabil bank’s representative office will be established in Hong Kong within six months, which is expected to facilitate financial transactions.
The event was attended by international guests from India, China, Macau and Taiwan, as well as businessmen and social leaders from Hong Kong. Bank of America Managing Director and Chief Information Officer Suraj Rai, Finex Hong Kong Limited Director Soyna Dhakal and International Young Democratic Union Vice President Hikmat Jung Karki were also present on the occasion.
Rajnish Bhattarai, Chit Gurung, Ram Kandel, Kshitij Neupane, Nischal Dahal, Yam Gurung and others worked tirelessly to make this grand event a success. Sagar Management HK, led by Sagar Thapa, played an important role in the operation of the program while technical support was provided by Suresh Thapa. Similarly, Anoj Roka added more attraction by conducting the program.
Concluding the program, Akash Banjara reiterated his determination to establish Gurkha’s Finance as ‘Gurkha’s Bank’ and thanked all the dignitaries present.
