Kathmandu. AML/CFT training of Sun Nepal Life has concluded. With an aim to enhance the capacity of its employees and ensure regulatory compliance, the insurance company has conducted special training on Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) as well as institutional good governance at Hotel Central Plaza, Kohalpur.
Executive Director of Nepal Insurance Authority Sushil Dev Subedi and Deputy Director Padam Prasad Sodari provided training on the occasion.
He pointed out the need to remain alert in time as global challenges such as money laundering and terror financing could affect the insurance sector as well.
Chief Executive Officer of the company Raj Kumar Aryal, Deputy CHIEF Executive Officer Kabi Phuyal, Chief Marketing Officer Ganesh Chaulagain and departmental heads of the company were present on the occasion.
At present, Sun Nepal Life Insurance Company operates life insurance business from 143 branches across the country.
