Kathmandu. Non-life insurers have seen a lot of business property insurance. Nepal Insurance Authority (NEA) has released the current fiscal year 2082 BS. This has been seen from the data of the first month of July 1983.
A total of 14 non-life insurers and four small non-life insurers have brought in a total business of Rs 4.39 billion in July. The share of property insurance in this is high.
Non-life insurers have collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.51 billion through property insurance in july. Which is 34.38 percent of the total trade.
Similarly, motor insurance has the second highest number of businesses. Non-life insurers have collected a total insurance premium of Rs 1.10 billion through motor insurance in July. Motor insurance accounts for 25.07 percent of the total trade.
In the current fiscal year, insurance companies have earned Rs 619.6 million through miscellaneous insurance, Rs 510.3 million through engineering and contract risk insurance, Rs 304 million through marine insurance, Rs 165 million through agriculture and crop insurance, Rs 103.1 million through air insurance and Rs 79.6 million through micro insurance.
Divers accounted for 14.09 per cent of the total trade, engineering and contract risk 11.61 per cent, maritime insurance 6.91 per cent, agriculture and crops 3.77 per cent, aviation 2.34 per cent and micro 1.81 per cent.
