Kathmandu. The number of contributors taking money from the Employees Provident Fund for the treatment of deadly diseases for social security has increased significantly.

According to the Fund, the previous fiscal year 2080. The number of depositors receiving funds for the treatment of deadly diseases has increased by almost 22 percent to 1,396 in the last fiscal year compared to 81. In the last fiscal year, depositors have received payment of Rs 192.7 million from the fund. In the previous fiscal year, rs 174.8 million was distributed to 1,146 depositors for deadly diseases.

According to the Fund, for the treatment of deadly diseases, the husband and wife of the depositor will be given up to Rs 1 million in the service period. The fund provides this money to the depositor for the treatment of heart disease, cancer, kidney, lung, blood related cancer and other cancers.

The fund last fiscal year 2081. More than Rs 558.5 million has been distributed as social security to 25,355 depositors. The previous fiscal year 2080. In 2017, the Fund had distributed rs 542.5 million to a total of 26,074 depositors as social security.

According to the Fund, 3,959 depositors of general diseases have received Rs 147 million under the depositor health care facility. Last year, the Fund had distributed Rs 171.5 million to 4,590 depositors under this facility.

Last year, rs 143.3 million was provided to 19,110 people under maternity and child care facilities. Last year, the depositors had received Rs 146.436 million to 19,525 people under maternity and child care facilities.

Under the Kajkiria Grant Scheme, the dependent families of 605 people have received Rs 24.2 million and 170 people have received Rs 34 million under the accident compensation facility. Rs 28.23 million has been provided to dependent families of 706 people and Rs 21.4 million to 107 people under accident compensation facility.

According to the Fund, Rs 17.22 million has been paid to 115 depositors under the welfare scheme.
