Kathmandu. Mandu Hydropower Company’s hydropower project has started commercial power generation. The bagmati small hydropower project (22 MW) was damaged due to heavy floods and landslides in the Bagmati Rivulet due to incessant rainfall since October 1, 2081.
After completing the re-construction work of the project, out of the two units of the company, one unit was started on Shrawan 19, 2082 and another unit on September 19, 2082 and the project was fully connected to the national transmission line of Nepal Electricity Authority.
