Kathmandu. The market capitalization of almost all sectors in the stock market has increased. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has released the fiscal year 2019/20. The figures of 82 show this.
According to the data, the market capitalization of insurance companies in NEPSE has increased by 22.3 percent in the last one year. The market capitalization of insurance companies has increased from Rs 533.8 billion in the previous year to Rs 652.22 billion in the review year.
During the review year, the wealth of business group investors has increased. The market capitalization of the business group increased by 1212.2 percent to Rs 232.87 billion from Rs 17.74 billion in the previous year.
Similarly, the market capitalization of other groups increased by 39.6 percent. The total market capitalization of other groups has increased from Rs 326.25 billion in the previous year to Rs 455.52 billion in the review year.
In the last one year, the market capitalization of the investment group has increased by 37.6 percent. The investment group’s market capitalization increased from Rs 260.19 billion in the previous year to Rs 358 billion in the review year.
Similarly, in the last one year, the market capitalization of development bank has increased by 34 percent, hydropower group by 32.9 percent, hotel by 25 percent, microfinance by 9.6 percent and production and processing by 10.1 percent.
The market capitalization of the banking group has increased by 24.1 percent in the review year compared to the previous year. The market capitalization of the banking group has increased from Rs 943.4 billion in the previous year to Rs 1,171.10 billion in the review year.
During the last one year, the total market capitalization of NEPSE has increased by 31 percent to Rs 4,656.98 billion. In the previous year, nepse’s market capitalization was Rs 3,553.67 billion.
Commercial bank group has 25.1 percent market capitalization, development bank group 4.7 percent, finance company group 1.8 percent, microfinance group 8.5 percent, insurance company group 14 percent, production and processing group 5.4 percent, hotel group 2.7 percent, business group 5 percent, investment group 7.7 percent, hydropower group 15.3 percent and other groups 9.8 percent.
