Kathmandu. Nepal Chartered Accountants’ Association has concluded its 10th pre-articleship orientation programme on Sunday. According to the organization, this program is aimed at the students who passed the Cap 2 level of the Chartered Accountant (CA) examination conducted in June last year.
The objective of the program is to provide necessary information related to registered training to the students who have succeeded in the examination and the procedure required for registration at cap 3 level.
At the beginning of the program, executive director of the organization CA Bimal Dangol welcomed the participants. On the occasion, he congratulated all those present and wished them a bright future.
Ca Nil Bahadur Saru Magar, President of the organization, highlighted the purpose of the program. “It’s not the end of your journey to reach this height, it’s the beginning, so be prepared for more hard work,” he said. He also informed about the various opportunities he would get after becoming a member of the association.
Ca Ananda Raj Sharma Wagle, vice-president of the organization, also made a presentation on the occasion. The presentation covered topics such as the behavior to be followed by the trainee during the registered training, the role of the trainee and instructor, and the rights and scope of the audit firm.
His presentations included topics related to the work environment, business practices of the audit firm, business culture, behavior, articald trainees and principles, responsibilities and rights in the audit firm, environment and behavior of the designated audit firm and customer office.
Ca Gaurav Khatiwada, Assistant Director of the Education Division of the organization, made a presentation on the policy basis and procedure related to the training agreement.
Coach Rajan Koirala gave a presentation on communication, etiquette and professional conduct to be done during the training and communication to be done within the audit firm.
Cash and certificates were also distributed to the winners and runners-up of the ICAN Essay Competition organized by the organization.
On the occasion, CA Raju Gajurel, member of the organization, pointed out the need to update the accounting sector accordingly as there has been a big change in information technology. He presented the concept of outsourcing and informed about the global opportunities.
Ca Umesh Raj Pandey, councilor of the organization and member of the Board of Studies, stressed the need for formal communication skills in every aspect of life and suggested the students to focus on learning during the articleship training.
