Kathmandu. Himalayan Life Insurance Limited has concluded ‘Himalayan Teej Utsav 2082’. The festival concluded with an entertaining programme in Birtamode on Friday.
On the occasion of Teej, the great festival of women, the company celebrated teej with the winners of the scheme launched in the month of Saun, according to the company’s Koshi Province Chief Ram Bahadur Shahi.
Agents and employees of Damak, Birtamod, Surunga, Buddhashanti and Kakarbhitta branches of the company participated in the program.
A competitive solo dance competition was organized on the occasion. Pramila Adhikari, Durga Rai and Renuka Dangal secured first, second and third positions respectively. State Chief Shahi and Deputy Mayor Bhola Krishna (Nabin) Mishra handed over the awards to the winners. Similarly, Rekha Adhikari and Sarita Thebe Subba were given tokens of love.
A play titled ‘Single Daughter’s Unfinished Dream’ depicting the importance of insurance was also staged on the occasion. The play was written and directed by MDRT and Senior Agency Manager Khivaraj Dahal. The company’s Damak branch chief Chandrakala Ghimire (CG) choreographed various dances.
Senior agency manager Sagar Rijal and Birtamod branch chief Badri Prasad Bhandari conducted the programme.
The company had organized teej festival program at Dhulabari branch on Thursday.
