Kathmandu. Ananda Raj Sharma Wagle, vice-president of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN), has been appointed as a board member of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).
Newly appointed board member Wagle was welcomed by SEBON President Santosh Narayan Shrestha on Friday. On the occasion, other board members and high-ranking officials of the board also welcomed Wagle and extended best wishes.
Section 3(2)(e) of the Securities Act, 2063 provides for a representative from ICANS as a member of the SEBON. Wagle has been nominated as a board member from ICAN as per the same arrangement.
